DawnBuckinghamThe Pecan Valley Republican Women announce their monthly luncheon will feature Dr. Dawn Buckingham as their guest speaker.  The luncheon will begin at 11:30 a.m. this Thursday, April 28th, at the Brownwood Country Club.  Buckingham is one of two candidates in the May 24, 2016 Runoff Election for Senate District 24.

The Brown County and Pecan Valley Republican Women’s Clubs worked together to offer the public an opportunity to hear both of the Senate District 24 runoff candidates.  Earlier this month, State Representative Susan King spoke at the Brown County Republican Women’s luncheon.  This week, Dr. Dawn Buckingham, will be the guest speaker for the Pecan Valley Republican Women.  The public is encouraged to attend and to bring questions for Buckingham to answer.

Dawn Buckingham is a Christian, conservative, physician, and small business owner. She was born into a seventh generation Texas family and has a proven record of cutting government waste and spending as a School Board Trustee and an appointee to the State’s Sunset Commission. Dawn’s priorities are listed as cutting wasteful spending, and lowering taxes, securing the border, empowering parents in their children’s education, protecting the unborn, and healthcare reform that puts patients first.

Early voting will take place May 16-20.
