8:30 AM UPDATE: Market Place Blvd. from Davis Lane to Main Blvd. has been closed.

Most of these temporarily closed streets will be open in 1 to 2 hours, according to City Manager Emily Crawford.

The current road closures due to high water include:

Riverside Drive at Market Place
Brady at Rogan
1st at Avenue E
10th at Good Shepherd
Magnolia between 1st and 3rd
Brady Avenue from 3rd to 5th

Also closed are Riverside Park and Fabis Park

The current Lake Brownwood level is 1427.63 feet. Emergency Management Coordinator Brownwood Fire Chief Del Albright will have a conference call with the National Weather Service at 9:00 AM this morning for updated projected water levels, according to Crawford.
