Mulch and Compost Now Available at the City of Brownwood Recycling Center

CityofBrownwoodlogo_smallThe City of Brownwood now has mulch and compost available at the recycling center located at the landfill.

Mulch will be $5.00 for a pick up or single axle trailer, and $10.00 for a dual axle trailer up to 16ft. Any size over that will be charged at $3.00 per cubic yard. Delivery for roll off containers may be possible at $6.00 per cubic yard. (Minimum size is 20 cubic yards.)

Compost will be $20.00 for a pick up or single axle trailer, and $40.00 for a dual axle trailer up to 16ft. Any size over that will be charged at $12.00 per cubic yard. Delivery for roll off containers may be possible at $15.00 per cubic yard. (Minimum size is 20 cubic yards.)

Please call ahead to make sure that the center has the people and equipment on hand to help load mulch or compost.

The City of Brownwood’s Recycling Center is located at 6800 FM 45 South, Brownwood, TX 76801 (at the entrance of the landfill).
