Monday, April 4

* 7:06 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to an address on Ireland Drive regarding someone shooting and poisoning the neighbor’s cats and other neighborhood animals.

*7:23 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Avenue C regarding graffiti.  According to the report, multiple parties were reporting the same damage.  An investigation is ongoing, the report states.

*3:08 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to an address in Blanket, Texas regarding a terroristic threat.

*6:19 PM – Brownwood Police received a report via telephone of credit/debit card abuse.  According to the report, the complainant stated that his sister and her friend stole his debit card and made unauthorized transactions at a local convenience store.

*8:28 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2800 block of Avenue B regarding the theft of a bicycle.  According to the report, the bike had been stolen from the front yard of the complainant’s residence.

*8:32 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 3100 block of 4th Street regarding disorderly conduct.  According to the report, a female subject was allegedly yelling that she was going to kill someone.  Two BPD officers arrested 36-year-old Kristy Lee Jackson of Bangs for public intoxication.

*9:02 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2100 block of 13th Street regarding a hit and run accident.  According to the report, the caller stated they had heard a vehicle drive through the area and then strike a pickup truck.

*10:00 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the area of 13th Street and Avenue E.  According to the report, a pickup truck was parked in the roadway with a male and female inside involved in a domestic disturbance.  Dispatchers told the responding officer that the female had exited the vehicle and was walking behind a church in the area.  The male was reported to be driving the vehicle in reverse.  The vehicle was located and a short pursuit involving the vehicle took place, police report.  This call led to the arrest of 36-year-old Thomas Roy Holland of Brownwood for evading arrest/detention with vehicle, possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram, and on an outstanding warrant for his arrest.

*10:38 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 100 block of Melwood regarding an assault, involving injury and family violence.

*11:42 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of Avenue A regarding drug/narcotics.  This call led to the arrest of Robert Stanfield for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 34-year-old Eric Edward Babcock of Bangs on warrants related to burglary of a building and motion to adjudicate/possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram in a drug free zone.

*34-year-old Dustin Edward Gamblin of Early turned himself in on a warrant related to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.  Gamblin was later released on $25,000 bond.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 31-year-old Jessica Dawn Netherton of Brownwood on warrants related to surety withdrawals for possession for a controlled substance and manufacture delivery of a controlled substance.

Tuesday, April 5

*Brownwood Police arrested 55-year-old Robert Stanfield of Brownwood for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.

All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement reports and jail records.
