The EHS One-Act Play Team performed their 2016 UIL contest piece, Dearly Departed, at the District 7-3A contest held on March 23 at Bangs High School?. Their performance garnered several individual awards along with advancing to the Bi-district contest? held on March 30 at Clyde High School?.

District individual awards went to: Maggie Yantis (All-Star Cast), David Morales (All-Star Cast), ?Danie Contreras (All-Star Crew), ?McKenna Towell (Honorable Mention All-Star Cast), and Jenna Whitehead (Honorable Mention All-Star Cast).

Bi-District individual awards went to: ??Danie Contreras (All-Star Crew), ?David Morales (Honorable Mention All-Star Cast) and Holli Hullum (Honorable Mention All-Star Cast).
