Aaron Walden

Aaron Walden, 90, died Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at his residence.  Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 2, 2016 at the Leaday Cemetery with Rev. James Posey officiating.  Services are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.

He was born Aaron Wesley Walden on May 18, 1925 to Bill Walden and Sally Phillips Walden in Leaday.  He grew up in Leaday and attended school at Leaday and Voss.  On December 12, 1950, he married Della Blair in San Angelo.  He was a farmer and rancher.

Survivors include his wife, Della Walden of Coleman; three sons, Aaron Wesley Walden, Jr. of San Angelo, Larry Walden and wife, Teresa, of Winters, Robert Walden of Voss; one brother, Bill Walden and wife, Sharon, of Burleson; one sister, Erma Ingram and husband, Jim, of College Station; three grandchildren, Tony Walden of San Angelo, Michelle Craig of Winters, Stacy Jordan of Graham; six great-grandchildren, Jayden Santos, Shelby Santos, Luke Craig, Nolan Davis and Olivia Davis, all of Winters, McKenna Jordan of Graham; two step grandchildren, Brandon Davis and wife, Christina, of Winters, Jennifer Spencer of Lubbock and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Lois Price and Ruby Ferguson.

Visitation with the family will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 1, 2016 at Stevens Funeral Home, 400 West Pecan Street, Coleman.
