A graveside funeral service for Lora Fae White, age 75, of Rising Star, will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday in the Rising Star Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.  Heartland Funeral Home of Early is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. White passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at her home.

Lora Fae Monsey was born on December 28, 1940 in Rising Star to Vollie and Evelyn (Pannell) Monsey.  She married Larry White on December 2, 1960 in Meridian.  He preceded her in death on November 11, 2014.  She was a homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church of Rising Star.

Fae is survived by her two daughters, Regina Bosma and husband Yme of May and Karla Medford and husband Daryl of Carbon; grandchildren, Zachary Rust, Hunter Rust, Kailey Medford, Morgan Medford, Kylie Medford and great-grandchildren, Tristen, Brye, Zoey and Blakely.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, Betty Jane Rusk and Pat Smith, and a brother, Tommy Monsey.

The family requests memorials be made to the Rising Star Cemetery Association or to the Youth Group of First Baptist Church of Rising Star.
