BrownwoodArtAssociation

The Early Chamber of Commerce recently honored Brownwood Art Association as their Business of the Month for February.

Brownwood Art Association is about engaging the love of art in Brownwood and Brown County. The organization provides several activities each month which enable the community to experience art in unique and fun ways that are both educational and inspiring.

BAA’s First Thursday exhibits feature artists during a special reception open to the public. Muse & Merlot painting parties are designed to help both beginning and experienced painters try something new in a relaxed setting.  Monthly demonstrations from a wide range of artists in a variety of mediums are also open to the public. There’s always something going on at the Art Center.

The Brownwood Art Association is pleased to announce a new monthly event at the Art Center, which began this month, AMP (Art.Music.People). The AMP events will feature singer/songwriter “Open Mic Night” on the Third Thursday of each month. Those with an interest in music, singing, playing musical instruments, art, food trucks and people are encouraged to attend. Cost to attend each AMP event is $5.00 per person. Musicians that perform will get in free.

For More information about the Brownwood Art Association or any of its events, please call 325-641-2916. To keep up with BAA events and help support the arts in Brownwood, CLICK HERE to visit their Facebook page.
