100HolesForFamilyFamily Services Center in Brownwood will host their annual 100 Holes for Families April 22 and May 2.  With the help of 20 golfers, FSC is able to raise $20,000 to meet the growing needs of operating the Family Services Center.

Golfers collect sponsorships and then tee off at dawn, taking over one of the local golf courses for the day.  By dusk they will have completed 100 or more holes of golf.  The event starts as golfers tee off at 7:00 a.m. and ends at 6:30 p.m.

FSC still needs more golfers so it’s not too late to join in the fun.  Golfers may choose to play on either Friday, April 22nd at the Hideout Golf Club or Monday, May 2nd at the Brownwood Country Club.

Minimal sponsorships are collected by each golfer, with a goal of $1000 per golfer.   For example:  $1.00 per hole x 100 holes x 10 sponsors = $1000.  Golfers may collect larger sponsorships from more than 10 sponsors to help serve even more families through FSC.

Another way to help FSC is by committing to the $300.00 Event Sponsorship or the $1000.00 Event Sponsorship including (1) all day golfing pass. The Event Sponsorship will give your business 4 months of media coverage through local radio stations, Brownwood Bulletin, and Brownwood News, along with your logo and company name on all flyers and printed materials.

Funds raised will directly benefit FSC and are used to strengthen individuals, children, and families through professional counseling, education, advocacy, supportive services and collaboration. With the growing needs of serving 9 counties and continued cut backs in local and state funding, Family Services Center needs the public’s help.

Golfers are able to choose which course they would like to play.  The Hideout Golf Club is located at 6680 FM 2632 near Lake Brownwood.  Brownwood Country Club is located at 5875 Country Rd 225, in Brownwood.

Those interested in sponsoring a golfer are encouraged to contact FSC at (325) 646-5939 or email evans@familysc.net.
