Gurl Guide Expo Set for Feb. 20th

GurlGuideExpo2016Teen girls, grades 6th-12th, are cordially invited to attend the Gurl Guide Expo, which will be held from 2-7 p.m. on Saturday, February 20th, and will feature many local guest speakers for teen girls and their moms or female role-models.  The event is provided by the Heart of Texas Children’s Advocacy Center and will be held at Coggin Avenue Baptist Church.

Guest speakers include: Amy Hamilton-Praise & Worship, Brittany Cox-Dazzling Divas Modesty Fashion Show, Keren Myers-Mary Kay Makeup Tips, Hailey Allen-Nathana’s Hair Tips, Jody Easley-Brownwood Fitness Club Healthy Living Tips, Terri Medlock- Pregnancy Care Center, Howard Payne University Gurl Guide Mentors, and Kelsey Robinson- Gurl Guide Director.

This free event will last half a day, and will be packed full of fun and information for teen girls, including health & beauty tips and support while dealing with today’s issues (self-esteem, pressure, relationships).
