Thursday, January 28

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of the theft of a firearm from a property on Belfast Drive.  According to the report, a possible suspect has been named.

Saturday, January 30

*4:11 PM – Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of theft from a property on FM 2125.

Monday, February 1

*11:20 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2000 block of Brady Avenue regarding found property.  According to the report, approximately $70 in U.S. currency was located and a victim of theft to whom the money belonged was also located.

*1:32 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2300 block of Belmeade regarding theft.  According to the report, a quartz geode rock approximately 12”x24”x8” was stolen from the property some time during the past month.  The rock’s value was estimated at approximately $1,000.

*5:54 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a property on Hwy 279N regarding suspicious activity.  According to the report, the complainant stated that an unknown person has been opening her mail and may have obtained a credit card number.

*6:32 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2500 block of W. Main Blvd. regarding the burglary of a habitation.  According to the report, several electronic items, approximately $20 in change and two pellet guns were stolen during the burglary.  An investigation is ongoing, the report states.

*7:13 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of E. Baker Street regarding a weapons offense.  According to the report, the complainant reported that he was shot with a BB or pellet gun while in the parking lot of a business at this location.

*37-year-old Alandra Nicole Dillard of Fort Worth turned herself in on warrants related to failure to appear/manufacture delivery of a controlled substance and a surety withdrawal for manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 1 gram less than 4 grams.  Dillard was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $240,000 as of Tuesday morning.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 40-year-old Julie Lynn Derrick Gilger of Eldorado, Texas on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/engaging in organized criminal activity.  Gilger was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $250,000 bond das of Tuesday morning.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 31-year-old Randall Shayne Justice of Cisco on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/delivery of Marijuana.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 41-year-old Orlando Cruz Ochoa of Lockhart, Texas for manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 4 grams less than 200 grams.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 20-year-old Alexander Plant of Cisco for manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 4 grams less than 200 grams.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 31-year-old Stacey Raquel Ruiz of Brownwood on a warrant related to motion to revoke/fraudulent intent to obtain controlled substance schedule III/IV.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 24-year-old Frankie Steven Salazar of Brownwood on a warrant related to tampering with or fabricating physical evidence.

Tuesday, February 2

*Brownwood Police arrested 27-year-old Johnny Johnson of Hobbs, New Mexico on Hobbs County, NM warrants related to unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and two counts of contempt of court.

*Brownwood Police arrested 17-year-old Nicholas Johnson of Brownwood on a warrant for theft.

All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement reports and jail records.
