Felony Offenders Sentenced in District Court

BrownCountyDistrictCourtLogoDistrict Attorney Micheal Murray reports that several felony cases were recently heard in Brown/Mills County District Court, Judge Stephen Ellis presiding.

Steven Gene Biggs pled guilty to the felony offense of Theft-Elderly Individual and was sentenced to 20 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.  Further, Biggs pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance-Drug Free Zone and was sentenced to 3 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.  Also, Biggs pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of Forgery and was sentenced to 2 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Joe Robert Robles pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver-Drug Free Zone and was sentenced to 18 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Randall Lee Perry, on probation for the felony offense of Theft over $1,500 under $20,000 was adjudicated and sentenced to 10 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Orlando Carrillo pled guilty to the felony offense of Retaliation and was sentenced to 6 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Billy Taylor pled guilty to the felony offense of Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Requirement and was sentenced to 6 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Dustin Lee McFarland pled guilty to the felony offense of Evading Arrest and was sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Shawna Marie Waddell Nelson pled guilty to the felony offense of Delivery of a Controlled Substance-Drug Free Zone and was sentenced to 2 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Terrance Maxey, on probation for the felony offense of Theft over $1,500 under $20,000 was revoked and sentenced to 20 Months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Timothy Owings pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of Theft-Metals and was sentenced to 9 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
