Dorothy Jean Newbury-Dodson, a native of Tucumcari, New Mexico and resident of Denham Springs, passed away at her home on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at the age of 67. Graveside service will be held in May Cemetery, May, Texas on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at 2:00pm.

She is survived by her husband of fifty years, Jerry Dale Dodson, Sr., three sons, Jerry Dale Dodson, Jr. and wife Amy of Cisco, TX, Jeffrey Dean Dodson and wife Laura of Seguin, TX and Joseph Dane Dodson and wife Sarah of Early, TX, sister, Marie Aten and husband Bill of Prescott Valley, AZ, and twelve grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Dorothy Newbury, and her brother, Jimmy Newbury.

She was a member of Grace Bible Baptist Church.
