James Davis, a member of the Brownwood High School Band traveled to Stephenville on January 16th to participate in the Association of Texas Small School’s Region 7 Jazz Band.

James competed during the fall semester and won his place in the band on jazz piano.  All the students who earned a position in the band rehearsed Friday night and all day Saturday to perform a concert Saturday night.

The jazz band director from the University of Texas at Arlington, Dr. Tim Ishii, was the featured band clinician.  BHS Congratulates James Davis.
