Shawna Lynn Wishert

A memorial service for Shawna Lynn Wishert, age 46, of Brownwood, will be held at 6:00 PM, Monday, January 11, 2016 in the Heartland Funeral Home chapel.

Shawna passed away on January 6, 2016 in Brownwood.

Shawna was born August 2, 1969 in Corpus Christi to Harvey Wayne and Ada Boykin.  She attended Brownwood schools and worked as a dietary aide at CARE, Inc. for a number of years.  She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene.  Shawna enjoyed ending time with family, reading books, watching TV and movies.  She was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother and friend.  She will be dearly missed by one and all.

Shawna was preceded in death by her father, Harvey Wayne Boykin, grandmother, Verra Boykin, and an uncle, Wade “Pete” Boykin.

She is survived by her children, Courtney Ann Wishert, Corey Ray Wishert and wife Stephanie; two granddaughters, Lexe Ann Wishert and Ella Rose Wishert; a brother, Kevin Wayne Boykin; her mother, Ada Burnie, and step-father, Thomas Gordon Burnie.
