Delmer Parks, age 70, of Lake Brownwood passed away December 19, 2015 at his residence.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Monday, December 21, 2015, at Bangs Cemetery with Tim Martin officiating. No visitation will be held.  Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.

Delmer was born on September 18, 1945 to Elmer and Lillie Mae (Williams) Parks in Ada, Oklahoma. He worked for Brown County Precinct 4 for ten years and drove trucks for 25 years. Delmer loved his family and NASCAR.

Delmer is survived by his wife, Catherine Parks of Brownwood; daughter, Melissa Creek of Brownwood; son, Rick Parks of Flower Mound; 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers; and 2 sisters.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Valerie Kay Foshee; son, Billy Michael Parks; and several brothers and sisters.
