Family Bass Club December Tournament Results and Standings

FishingBoatOnLakeBrownwoodSmThere were 12 men and 1 youth who participated in the Family Bass Club Fishing Tournament held at Lake Brownwood on December 12th.

The lake conditions were as follows:

Weather was Overcast.
Wind: 8 to 21 mph SSE gust to 30
Air temp: start 62° end 73°
Water was Dirty to Stained 53° to 58°
There were 9 fish weighed in for a total of 20.88 lbs.
Out of 13 contestants 6 people weighed in fish with 0 limits.

The 5 lb. pot was won by Joey Wynn with the largest bass.

The January tournament will be held on Lake Squaw Creek on January 9th.  Weigh in will be in the parking lot closest to the small dock.

Those planning on fishing in the January tournament on Squaw Creek need to make reservations online as soon as possible. The Lake fee is $30 per boat, members are encouraged to take a partner to offset the cost.

The January club meeting/banquet will be held at Humphrey Pete’s at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 5th.  Officers will be elected at that time.
