Christmas Parade Award Winners Announced

The 2015 Spirit of Christmas Lighted Parade was held in Downtown Brownwood on Thursday, December 3rd with thousands of spectators filling the streets to enjoy the annual event.

More than a dozen awards were presented to the various floats and entries in this year’s parade for their hard work, creativity and participation.

 

This year’s parade was sponsored by Texas Rock Crusher Railway with the theme of “my favorite Christmas,” and included floats, vehicles, walkers, horses, classic cars, marching bands and more.

2015 award winners include:

Texas Rock Crusher Railway – Polar Express award sponsored by Airtite Products

BHS Cheerleaders – Mayor’s Choice award sponsored by Howard Payne University

Northwest PTO – Grand Marshal award sponsored by Bostick’s auto & Truck Sales

Girling Home Health – Santa’s Helper award sponsored by Strong Business solutions

North Lake Community Church – Joy to the World award sponsored by Walmart

Bad Boyz & Girlz Motorcycle Club – Rudolph award sponsored by Dr. Pepper Bottlers, Brownwood, Inc.

Andy’s Pest Troopers – Scrooge award sponsored by BrownwoodNews.com

Early Key Club – Little Drummer Boy award sponsored by TSTC

Brownwood Senior Citizen’s Center – Mrs. Claus award sponsored by Strong Business Solutions

Lake Brownwood State Park – Santa’s Workshop award sponsored by Cook’s Fishbarn Restaurant & Catering

Brownwood Municipal Police Association – Santa’s Choice award sponsored by Allegiance Ambulance
