LECSmLaw enforcement arrests and reports released Tuesday, December 15, 2015.

Monday, December 14

*12:32 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding the theft of motor vehicle parts.  According to the report, two batteries valued at $480 had been stolen from an excavator parked at a construction site.

*2:41 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of W. Commerce Street regarding the burglary of a building, a storage/rental building.

*3:20 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2000 block of US Hwy 377 South regarding theft.  According to the report, the alleged suspect had left the scene.

*6:51 PM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the area of 1st and Lackey Streets.  According to the report, this stop led to the arrest of 40-year-old James Mathew Duncan of Odem, Texas for driving while intoxicated 2nd and resisting arrest search or transport.

*6:55 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 400 block of W. Commerce regarding theft.  According to the report, a male suspect was issued a citation for theft equal or less than $100 after he attempted to steal an LG brand smart phone valued at $99.92.

*Early Police arrested 42-year-old Troy James Cornett of Early on warrants related to failure to maintain financial responsibility and no driver’s license.

*Brownwood Police arrested 40-year-old Elizabeth Ann Fuentes of Bangs on a warrant related to illegal dumping from vehicle.

*Brownwood Police arrested 47-year-old Bobby Gene Harwell, Jr. of Brownwood on a warrant related to a parole violation.

*Brownwood police arrested 64-year-old Sharron Sheffield Holland of Brownwood for assault causes bodily injury family violence.

Tuesday, December 15

*Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 600 block of Avenue G regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, an assault with injury related to family violence was documented.

All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement reports and jail records.
