EMS One-Act Play Earns 1st in District

EMSOneActPlayDistrict2015

The Early Middle School One-Act Play Team traveled to Bangs High School on December 8, 2015 to compete in the UIL District 7-AAA One-Act Play Competition.

EMS performed ALICE!, a fantastical story written by Dennis M. Maganza and inspired by Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass.

The cast & crew of ALICE! was awarded 1st place for their performance. They also earned several individual and ensemble awards.

Best Actress: Linsey Piper (Alice)

All-Star Cast: Madison Green (Player 5, Caterpillar, Mouse, White Horse);  Kaedon Robertson (Player 2, Nurse, Father, Mad Hatter, Red Knight); Kate Yantis (Player 6, Kitty, Door, Queen, Chesire Cat)

Honorable Mention All-Star Cast: Carson Hill (Player 3, White Rabbit/March Hare, White Knight); ?Macey Jacobs (Narrator)

Ensemble: Breanna Ezzell, Allison Leach, Brionna Moore

Best Tech Crew:? Anna Arrington (Hair); Mattie Arrington (Lights); Payton Bartlett (Stage Manager); Kaitlyn Godfrey (Audio)

Outstanding Crew Member: ?Payton Bartlett (Stage Manager)
