Brownwood Regional Medical Center is offering community residents free help with evaluating insurance options and enrolling on the Marketplace. Appointments can be made with certified assisters by calling (325) 649-3331.

The purpose of the Health Insurance Marketplace is to offer all U.S. citizens access to affordable health plans that offer comprehensive benefits in an effort to keep you healthy.

A question and answer sessions will be held on Tuesday, December 9 from 1-3 pm in the Brownwood Public Library. This is an opportunity for the public to come and ask questions and options for insurance to avoid the penalty of not having insurance for 2016.

“Open enrollment” – the annual three-month period during which Americans can comparison shop and purchase healthcare coverage on the government’s Health Insurance Marketplace—is in full swing.

This question and answer session on December 9th offers local residents the opportunity to have questions answered to avoid the no health insurance penalty for the 2016 income tax year.
