Funeral Services for Beth Followwell will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at the Heartland Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in Eastlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.  Mrs. Followwell passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at her daughter’s home in Lampasas.

Sara Beth Followwell was born 12/15/28 to Benjamin and Julie Carey Nix of Blanket Texas, she was an only child, on 10/26/48, she married Alvie D. Followwell and they had two daughters, Peggy June and Pamela Joy. Beth had a life full of love and laughter, even in the end she was surrounded by family. She loved to read and do word puzzles, her favorite response when asked where did you hear about that? was “I read it in a book.”  Beth worked at Davis Floral for 30 years and was a member of Brownwood Evangelism Center church for 63 years. She was a member of the Grace Tabernacle Church in Edna, Texas for five years and the Apostolic Truth Tabernacle in Lampasas, TX for the last year.  She left a legacy of her love for God and for family

She is proceeded in death by her husband, Alvie D and her daughter Peggy June Withers, her mother and father, Benjamin and Julia Nix. She is survived by her daughter Pamela Joy Yancey  and her spouse Michael Yancey of Lampasas, TX, their children, Kara Gillette and spouse Dustin Gillette of Comanche, TX, Kassandra Burwell and spouse Paul Burwell of Akron, Ohio, Kennon Yancey and spouse Victoria Yancey of  Lampasas, TX.

She is survived by her son-in-law of the late Peggy June Withers, David Withers of Brownwood, TX and their children, Brad Thedford and spouse Charlyne Thedford of Brownwood, TX, Holly Whittenburg and spouse Joseph Whittenburg of Kingsland, TX, Jonathan Withers and spouse Stephanie Withers of Ft. Worth, TX. She is survived by her great grandchildren Jadyn and Jayce Thedford of Brownwood, TX, Madison and Jaxon Whittenburg of Kingsland, TX, Dallas and Kali Gillette of Comanche, TX, Hunter, Hayden & Elizabeth Withers of Ft. Worth, TX.
