Woodland Height’s Kindergarten celebrated its 6th annual Thanksgiving Feast Friday, November 20th. During class students have been studying the history of Pilgrims and Native Americans and why the Thanksgiving holiday is celebrated.

Kindergarten students created and decorated paper headdresses, hats, and other costume pieces before attending the feast as either a Native American or Pilgrim.

Students lined up in the school library to enjoy the feast which offered many of the traditional Thanksgiving foods including, turkey, dressing, potatoes, gravy and more.

Woodland Heights Elementary kindergarten teachers noted that the feast would not be possible without the support, donations, and participation of the parents.
