Brownwood Police Department is investigating the early morning burglary of a local pharmacy on Friday.

According to Assistant Chief James Fuller, the incident occurred just before 5:00 a.m. at Doc’s Pharmacy located on US Hwy 377 South.  Suspects entered the building by throwing an object through a door, then quickly ran in and grabbed an unknown amount of prescription medication, said Fuller.

The incident was said to have taken place very quickly.  Brownwood Police Department is continuing to investigate the incident and as of Friday afternoon, no arrest had been made.
