NandaStudentAs the Brownwood Lions face the playoffs, East Elementary principal, Nanda Wilbourn, donned a Lions helmet and jersey, Friday, November 13th, not only to show East’s love for the Lions, but to also help remind students to go, “above and beyond.”

“We need to remember to do our best by going above and beyond every day,” said Wilbourn speaking to the students. “Our Lions work so hard and I expect all of you to work just as hard.”

Mrs. Wilbourn sported a Lion helmet, shoulder pads and jersey as she greeted kids during morning classes. She made a point to visit all of the second and third grade classrooms and reminded students of their potential and ability to push farther and be better.

Pictured above and below is Mrs. Wilbourn with students Friday.
