LittleMermaidThe Bangs High School Theatre Department will present Walt Disney’s “The Little Mermaid JR” at the Bangs High School auditorium in multiple performances.

Show times are as follows:

November 13 & 14 – 7 p.m.
November 15 – 2 p.m.

A special optional Dessert Theatre will be presented on Nov. 15 starting at 1:15 p.m. which includes dessert and the 2:00 p.m. performance.

Tickets are $5 for all ages, and $7 for the Dessert Theatre. Tickets may be purchased at the door on performance dates.

“Featuring a company of more than 30 very talented young thespians and technicians, the show promises to be a ‘fin-tastic’ production,” stated Billie Harvey, Bangs High School Theatre & Speech Director.

Adapted from Disney’s 2008 Broadway production and the beloved Disney movie, audiences can journey “under the sea” with Ariel and her aquatic friends.  In a magical underwater kingdom, the beautiful young mermaid Ariel longs to leave her ocean home — and her fins — behind and live in the world above.  But first she’ll have to defy her father King Triton, make a deal with the evil sea witch Ursula and convince the handsome Prince Eric that she’s the girl whose enchanting voice he’s been seeking.

“This show, which features the hit songs “Part of Your World,” and “She’s in Love,” and the Oscar-winning “Under the Sea,” is a surefire crowd-pleaser,” explained Harvey.

The public is invited to attend.  For more information or questions please email [email protected] or call 325-752-6822.
