Thursday, October 15

*4:27 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the area of Lakeway Drive and W. Commerce for an agency assist with MHMR.  According to the report, an MHMR client struck her mother at the location and was transported to a state mental hospital by MHMR.

*5:46 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 600 block of W. Commerce regarding graffiti.

Monday, October 19

*9:25 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was called to a residence on Green Oaks Drive in Brownwood regarding fraud.  According to the report, the complainant stated someone had used his Valero credit card, without his consent, to charge fuel and other items.

*9:53 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of Main Street regarding suspicious activity.  Details were limited and an investigation is ongoing according to the report.

*10:20 AM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding debit/credit card abuse.  According to the report, the male complainant stated that a known subject took his credit card and made an unauthorized purchase at Wal-Mart the day before.

*4:00 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Avenue E regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, it appeared someone had broken a window in the back of the complainant’s residence in an attempt to enter the property.

*4:38 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence located on County Road 237 in Brownwood regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant stated that earlier that day someone had stolen his bicycle. Details of the incident were obtained and 18-year-old Raistlin Baily Ibarra was named as a primary suspect, the report states.  During a follow up investigation at Ibarra’s residence, he fled from the area and was caught shortly after during a foot pursuit, according to the report.  Ibarra denied stealing the bicycle, but was placed under arrest for evading a lawful detention.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 25-year-old Sara Jo Day Newton of Brownwood on a warrant related to possession of a controlled substance.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 20- y ear-old Trevor Ray Rogers Ross of Brownwood on a warrant related to a surety withdrawal/unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement reports and jail records.
