Tuesday, October 13

*10:18 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a report of an Estray on Hobbs Lane. According to the report, the complainant advised there was a donkey on his property, which did not belong to him. Several attempts were made to contact an owner with no success and the animal was transported to the Brown County Sheriff’s Office until an owner can be identified, the report states.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy received a report of found property.  According to the report, the caller reported he found a metal military grave marker on the side of the road.  The grave marker was found on Walnut Street approximately ½ mile past the city limits sign, the report states.  A search of FamilySearch.org indicated the marker came from a grave located in the Llano City Cemetery.

Wednesday, October 14

*1:49 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2800 block of Southside Drive regarding theft.  According to the report, a store employee reported that a male subject had stolen goods from the store and then later returned.  This call led to a citation for theft less than $100 being issued to the male suspect.

*4:49 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a property on County Road 425 in regards to two unclaimed donkeys at that location.  The two male donkeys were transported to the Brown County Sheriff’s Office for safe-keeping, the report states.

*11:32 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of 7th Street regarding a possible assault family violence which caused bodily injuries.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 27-year-old Stacy Renee Hair of Andrews on an Angelina County warrant related to motion to revoke/theft.

*44-year-old Angie S. Kirkland turned herself in on a warrant related to tamper with government record/insurance document.

*31-year-old Leann Michele Locke of Brady turned herself in on warrants related to violate promise to appear and expired driver’s license.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 40-year-old Samuel Lynn Lockhart of Brownwood on a warrant related to motion to revoke/possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested Ricky Lee Rodriguez of Sweetwater on a warrant related to failure to appear/obstruction or retaliation.  Rodriguez was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of a $30,000 bond as of Thursday morning.

Thursday, October 15

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 31-year-old Kimberly Jacobo of Hobbs, New Mexico on warrants related to tamper/farbricate physical evidence, and failure to appear/possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.  Jacobo was being  held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $150,000 as of Thursday morning.

All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement reports and jail records.
