Glenda “Aunt Mack” Cochran Payne

PayneGlendaGraveside Services for Glenda “Aunt Mack” Cochran Payne, age 73, of Brownwood will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 10, 2015, at Greenleaf Cemetery with Tim Boykin officiating. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 5-7 at the funeral home. Blaylock Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Glenda passed away Thursday, October 8, 2015 at home. Glenda was born to Felix Sr. and Elva (Rice) Cochran on July 28, 1942 in Brownwood. Glenda worked for Brownwood ISD for many years. She was a member of the VFW for a longtime. Glenda attended New Hope Baptist Church.

Glenda is survived by her daughters, Shelley Payne of Brownwood and Susan Payne of Lubbock; grandchildren, Brian and Kelby Rodriguez; great-grandchildren, Khloey, Alley, and Zoey; sister, Wilda Payne and husband Jimmy of La Coste. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Payne; grandson, Cayden Rodriguez; parents; 3 brothers, Junior, Bill, and Charlie Cochran; 2 sisters, Neva Scaff and JoAnn Cochran.
