Willie’s T’s of Brownwood received the Governor’s Small Business Award at the Governor’s Small Business Forum help on Thursday, September 24th at the Abilene Civic Center.  The event was sponsored by the Texas Midwest Community Network.

Willie’s T’s was nominated by the Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce for its ongoing commitment to its employees, job growth, community, capital investment and service excellence. 

In the nomination submitted by Executive Director Ray Tipton it was stated, “Willie’s T’s has grown from a college student’s idea into a national company through their great customer relationship, a fast turnaround, state-of-the-art equipment, professional quality graphics with the integrity and respect not found via other online or corporate vendors.  Willie’s T’s has been family owned and operated for 20 years with a dedication to high quality customer service and attention to detail. The company is a huge partner in the community and has worked closely with the local chambers to give back through sponsorships, involvement and volunteering. They are heavily involved in the local schools and support student development and community partnerships”.

The Governor’s Small Business Award recognizes small businesses for their investment or employment growth and remarkable accomplishments. Regional chambers and workforce organizations in the Texas Midwest Region nominated businesses that have been making a great impact in their community.
