Winners for the Brownwood Feels Like Home Celebration Grand Parade were announced Saturday morning after the parade concluded.

There were over 40 entries consisting of 93 floats and vehicles from non-profit groups, businesses, cheer leaders, gymnastics groups, marching bands and more participated in this year’s parade.

Awards were given to the following entrants.

1st Place – Sisters on the Fly (pictured at top and above)

2nd Place – Kids Incorporated

3rd Place – Brownwood Nursing and Rehab

The Brownwood Feels Like Home Celebration is a community-wide festival held the third weekend of September 18-20th in Brownwood, Texas featuring a variety of competitions, attractions, music, and food as well as a concert which this year featured Josh Turner and Uncle Kracker.  This year’s festival marked the 15th year of the event.
