Genealogical Society to Host Annual Book Sale Sept. 15-18

genealoglibraryThe Pecan Valley Genealogical Society will have its annual book sale located in the Brownwood Library Local History & Genealogy Branch at 213 S. Broadway beginning Tuesday, September 15 and continuing through Friday, September 18.

The book sale is the primary fundraiser for the Pecan Valley Genealogical Society and helps to keep the genealogy library open and operating on a daily basis.  There is a wide selection of used hardback andpaperback books available, along with some magazines of various subjects.  Prices start at 50¢ each for paperbacks and $1 each for hardbacks.

Past editions of Howard Payne yearbooks are also available for $1.00 each, as well as a few video cassettes of various kinds.

The public is invited to mark their calendars and “come in and stock up.”
