Brownwood’s Renea Hohertz and Bang’s Amanda Dawn Bramblett were among more than 20 students to receive cosmetology degrees during commencement services for the Ranger College School of Cosmetology this past weekend. In all, a total of 21 students from across the state were presented degrees during a ceremony held at the Cowboy Church of Erath County on August 7, 2015.
“It was exciting,” said Hohertz, the daughter of Mary Graves and the late Elmer Hohertz.
Ranger College President William Campion praised Hohertz and Bramblett, as well as all of the other graduates, for completing the cosmetology program, saying it will open new doors and opportunities for them in their future.
“These events are very special because they mark the opening of new doors in our lives,” said Campion. “Each one of these young women has achieved a milestone. It is a milestone they need to be recognized for. We, at Ranger College, salute you for your accomplishment. To you, we say congratulations on a job well done.”
Hohertz and Bramblett were among 9 students to graduate from the Brownwood/Early campus. A total of 11 graduated from the Erath County campus in Stephenville.
