HadleyJimA visitation for Jim Hadley, age 64, of Brownwood, will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 on Thursday evening, August 6, 2015 at Heartland Funeral Home.

James passed from this life on Friday, July 31, 2015 in Brownwood.

James Howard Hadley was born in Kemmer, Wyoming on April 24, 1951.  He and his family later moved to Soda Springs, Idaho where he graduated from High School there and went onto college.  In 1990, Jim married Carolyn Wray.  They lived on the Central Coast of California in Paso Robles.  In March 2005, the Hadley family moved to Brownwood.  Soon after they arrived in Brownwood, Jim went to work for Danhill Containers as a mechanic and worked there from 2005 until 2014.  He was battling many illnesses at that time and had to retire early.

Jim served in our armed forces during Vietnam in the Air Force as an Airplane Mechanic for four years.

Jim was a very quiet and private person, but he loved people and would do anything to help someone in need.  He will be missed by his family and many friends.  Jim, we know you are with God now and no longer suffering.  We will always keep you in our hearts until we meet again in Heaven.

Jim was a loving hard working Father, Husband, Brother and Uncle.  He would want his passing to be quiet without a lot of flair.

Jim is survived by his wife of 24 years, Carolyn Hadley of Brownwood a daughter, Michele Buendia of Brownwood a granddaughter, Isaabella Buendia of Brownwood, two sisters; Linda Sims of Vancouver, Washington and Carol McLain of Mont Pelier, Idaho; two brothers, John Hadley of Aspen, Wyoming and Randy Hadley of Van Croft, Idaho; and numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Stella Trujillo Hadley and James Sims.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made at: http://www.gofundme.com/2t5nysfqs

Condolences can be offered to the family at heartlandfuneralhome.net.
