TexasBank is proud to partner with Tori Truelove-Butler to collect items to send to Marines overseas.  Truelove-Butler is a Marine wife who saw a need after she sent her husband a care package. After he received the package and saw that his fellow Marines had not received one, he and Truelove-Butler felt that they had to do something.

Truelove-Butler is collecting items up until August 3rd. On that day she will start assembling  the care packages and invites anyone who would like to help to come on that day to the  Adams Street Community Center from 9am-1pm.

Suggested to include in the care packages are:  beef jerky, fruit snacks, non-chocolate candy, crackers, cookies, gum, fruit cups, protein bars, granola bars, individual drink mix packets, bars of soap (preferably unscented), travel-size shampoo, travel-size toothpaste, toothbrushes, and travel-size shaving cream.

TexasBank will have collection baskets at 4 branches :  Downtown at 400 Fisk, Marketplace on Clements Street by Home Depot, Camp Bowie on 377 South, and Bangs on East Hall Street.  Along with collection baskets, money banks will also be set-up to  collect monetary donations.

For more information call TexasBank at 325-649-9217.
