Brownwood/Brown County Health Department to Host Maternity Fair August 20th

browncountyhealthcenterThe Brownwood/Brown County will be holding the next quarterly maternity fair on August 20, 2015 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at the Adams Street Community Center at 511 East Adams Street in Brownwood.

Representatives from the Brownwood/Brown County Health Department, WIC, Family Services Center, TxDoT Kidsafe Program, Pregnancy Care Center and other agencies will be present to provide information about services offered and resources that are available in the area.

Participants will be provided with information about communicable disease, immunizations for infants, children and adults, feeding your baby, breastfeeding, parenting tips, healthy living, car seat safety and resources available for families in our area.

Each participant will receive a gift bag of free items and drawings will be held for door prizes.

A meal will be served and each participant may bring one guest with them. The maternity fair is free of charge to all expectant mothers in the area.

Registration is required for planning purposes. To register for the Maternity Fair please call the Brownwood/Brown County Health Department at 325-646-0554.
