MuseumDirectorStephanieDBrown County Museum of History hires new Museum Manager, Stephanie Ddughdhnemimnier.  She was born and raised in Midland, Texas and came to Brownwood to attend Howard Payne University. There she worked hard and received a BA History, BAAS Business Administration and a MBA in Business Administration.

Stephanie has worked mostly in retail and customer service, has her own handmade wreath business, is a notary public and worked four years at the Houston Museum of Natural Science.  She married Matt Ddughdhnemimnier and returned to Brownwood in 2010.

Stephanie was very close to her father with whom she always watched the History Channel and their favorite television show M.A.S.H.  She also shared a special interest in history with her mother, Mrs. Baldwin, who often made day trips to visit historical places all over Texas with Stephanie.

“The main goal for Stephanie at the Brown County Museum of History is to find ways to let the public know who we are and where we are,” said Wanda Furgason, Brown County Museum of History Director.  “Brown County has such rich heritage and I want residents and visitors to be proud of it.”

Stephanie invites everyone to come by the museum and see what is currently on display and hear of future plans for the museum.
