Graveside services George Wylie Leonard will be Saturday July 18, 2015 at 10:00 AM in the Santa Anna Cemetery Santa Anna, Texas under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home Early, Texas. Mr Leonard was born February 4, 1921 in Novice, Texas, he passed away July 15, 2015 in Garland, Texas. George served his country during World War II in the United States Army from 1942 to 1946.

He is survived his daughter Sherry McCormick of Garland, Texas, son, Paul Leonard of Orange, Texas, 2 step daughters; Janet Miller of Irving and Emily Permenter of Brownwood, Texas, 2 step sons; Raymond Wells of Brownwood, Texas, and Martin Wells of Bangs, Texas. He is also survived by 1 sister Maggie Lee of Farmington, New Mexico, 18 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

George is preceded in death by his wife of 43 years Eddie Leonard, a daughter Sandra Huff, 3 brothers; L.G., Leon, and Edward, and 2 sisters; Mary and Mel.
