The Brownwood Lyric Theatre will present its 12th annual Summer Musical “Guys and Dolls” which will open on Thursday, July 16th.  The Lyric Theatre’s stage will be transformed into early 1940s New York City as approximately 75 people including 50 actors and musicians bring the musical “Guys and Dolls” to life.

Director and Choreographer, Dr. Nancy Jo Humfeld, has assembled a dynamic group of performers for this year’s musical production, according to Managing Director Eric Evans.

“Guys and Dolls” has some wonderful familiar music including ‘Luck Be a Lady,’ ‘I Love You a Bushel & a Peck’ and ‘Sit Down, You’re Rockin’ the Boat’,” said Evans.

Tickets are currently available at $20 for adults and $10 for students.  Tickets can be purchased online in advance at BrownwoodLyricTheatre.com.

“Guys and Dolls” offers amazing choreography, singing and chorus line will be a treat for any age, according to Evans.

Performances will be offered at 7:30 p.m. on July 16, 17, 18, 23, 24, and 25.  Matinee performances are also offered at 2:30 p.m. on July 19, 24 and 26.

For information, contact Eric Evans at 325-998-2801.
