A five day search for 62-year-old Glen Nation of Coleman came to an end Sunday after search teams discovered his body.

According to Brown County Sheriff’s office officials, Nation’s body was found Sunday afternoon west of Sand Creek in Brown County which is where police initially had been searching for the man.

Sheriff’s Captain Vance Hill stated that the water had receded more overnight, making it possible to search more of the area where the search teams had initially concentrated earlier in the week.

Nation’s vehicle was swept away by flood waters near FM 2492 and Brown County Road 105 on Wednesday.

Hill stated that more information would be released by Sheriff Grubbs on Monday morning.
