Three juniors from Brownwood High School were named to attend this summer’s Rotary District 5790 RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Award) Camp held June 23-26 at Texas Women’s University in Denton.

They are (pictured above from left) Kyla McFarden, Ben Berger and Amy Compean.

The three presented a program on their experience to the Brownwood Rotary Club on July 1. More than 150 students from throughout North Texas were chosen for the camp based on their leadership experience and/or potential, willingness to cooperate in a group, awareness of current events, strong communication skills, performance at school and work, and enthusiasm for sharing newly found skills.
