Brownwood Art Association held its monthly 1st Thursday exhibit July 2nd at the Art Center. A number of local artists attended the event and enjoyed great art, hors de oeuvres and refreshments.
A People’s Choice award, awarded to Brenda Shaw, was selected by the event attendees. Her winning piece is entitled “1998.” The event featured artwork of Brownwood Art Association members.
Shaw is pictured above with her winning artwork and she was presented a $100 prize by Sharon Cook, Brownwood Art Association Treasurer.
