District Attorney Micheal Murray reports that two felony cases were recently heard in the Brown/Mills County District Court, Judge Stephen Ellis presiding.

Carey Lavon Reese pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver and was sentenced to 35 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Benjamin Ward Smith pled guilty to two separate state jail felony offenses for Theft of Firearm and Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 18 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
