7-On-7 Football State Tournament Pools Announced

7on7Logo2015The 2015 State 7-on-7 football State Tournament will take place on Thursday, July 9th through Saturday, July 11th and several Big Country teams will be fighting to earn the title of Division I or Division II champions.

The tournament is set to take place at the Veterans Park and Athletic Complex in College Station.  Division I tournament will be July 9th and 10th.  Division II will be July 10th and 11th.

The Brownwood Lions will take on Carthage, La Feria, and Taylor in Pool O.  Their first game will be at 2:00 p.m.  according to the schedule below.

1 pm:    1 vs 2  (Field A)    |    3 vs 4  (Field B)
3 pm:    1 vs 3  (Field A)    |    2 vs 4  (Field B)
5 pm:    1 vs 4  (Field A)   |    2 vs 3  (Field B)

2 pm:    1 vs 2  (Field A)    |    3 vs 4  (Field B)
4 pm:    1 vs 3  (Field A)    |    2 vs 4  (Field B)
6 pm:    1 vs 4  (Field A)   |    2 vs 3  (Field B)

1st team listed is visitor, wears white, and receives ball to start the game.  2nd team listed is home, wears dark, and receives ball to start 2nd half.  Field assignments are subject to change based on field conditions, logistical issues, etc.
