EarlyRoboticsCampEarly ISD will host robotics camps this summer for both beginners and advanced students.

Instructor Keith Taylor will help campers build and program projects using Lego Mindstorm Robotics.  The camp is designed to generate enthusiasm for the robotics program at Early Elementary.  Teams of three will be formed to work on projects.

All campers will receive a t-shirt, certificate and snacks will be provided each day.

Beginner’s Camp – July 20-23 from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Early Elementary School

Children who completed 3rd through 5th grades are invited to come join the fun and action building cars, lawn mowers, catapults and other machines.  The beginner’s camp is limited to 21 attendees and will be on a first come first served basis, so those interested are encouraged to register as soon as possible.

Attendees are asked to bring a sack lunch.  Lunch will be from 12-1 p.m. each day.

Cost of the camp is $65/person for early registration and $70 for those registering after July 3rd.  All registrations must be turned in by July 10th.  CLICK HERE for registration form.

Advanced Camp – July 27-30 from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Early Elementary School

Students who completed 4th and 5th grades who attended camp last summer or were on a robotics team are invited to join in the fun as attendees learn about data hubs and participate in a summer competition.  This advanced camp will feature more free building and programming than the beginner’s camp.

The advanced camp is limited to 21 attendees and will be on a first come first served basis, so those interested are encouraged to register as soon as possible.

Attendees are asked to bring a sack lunch.  Lunch will be from 12-1 p.m. each day.

Cost of the camp is $65/person for early registration and $70 for those registering after July 3rd.  All registrations must be turned in by July 10th.  CLICK HERE for registration form.

For questions or for more information, please contact Mr. Taylor by calling 325-646-5511 or 325-642-8605.
