Organizers for the 2015 Brownwood Feels Like Home Celebration held an event Tuesday to announce the concert headliners for this year’s celebration coming in September.

The 2015 celebration will feature a dual headliner of Josh Turner and Uncle Kracker on Saturday, September 19th, the second day of the three-day festival.

Turner is a contemporary country music singer known for his hits such as “Long Black Train,” “Why Don’t We Just Dance,” and “Time Is Love.”  Uncle Kracker is best known for his songs “Smile,”, “Drift Away,” and “Follow Me.”

Advance concert tickets will be available for $25 and will go on sale in August.

Organizers also announced a new event during this year’s celebration on Friday night, September 18th.

“We will offer a beer and wine tasting event on Friday night called Corks and Caps,” said Feels Like Home Celebration Director Sunni Modawell.  “It will feature craft beer from breweries along with samples from Texas wineries.  It will also feature live music from Crawfish.”

The Brownwood Feels Like Home Celebration is a community-wide festival held September 18-20th in Brownwood, Texas featuring a variety of competitions, attractions, music, and food in addition to the main concert.  This year’s festival marks the 15th year of the event.
