Marsha Jane Miller, 61, of Georgetown, Texas formerly of Wimberley and San Marcos, Texas passed away on June 7, 2015 in Georgetown.

Marsha was born on December 3, 1953 in San Saba, Texas to Dean and Loretta Rozell Miller.  She is survived by her son, Michael Mc Queen and wife Jolene of St. Lawrence, TX; grandsons: James and Levi Mc Queen of St. Lawrence, TX;  brothers:  Danny Miller and wife Barbara, Wayne  Miller and wife Misty, and Frank Miller; sisters: Deloris Gage and husband Joel and Laura Shanklin and husband Lance. She also leaves behind her mother, Loretta Miller of Georgetown.  She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunt and uncles and a host of loved ones. She was preceded in death by her father.

Marsha graduated from Southwest Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology/Anthropology. She was a member of the “Psychology Association” where she served as President for a year. She loved her time spent in college and always spoke fondly of the experience. After college she worked for several years for the State of Texas in child support enforcement.

Marsha was called “Mush” by her grandkids. She was not a material person and she was always inspirational. She knew where she stood and was solid in her beliefs. One has to look with admiration to a person that loved ancient history, was an avid reader and never stopped learning.  Marsha loved to enjoy good food and meals with family and friends. She always loved traveling. She was blessed with the best four legged friends a person could want to associate with, her two Yorkshire Terriers, Chloe and Sassy. She loved her friends and family and was always there to listen and help those she could. She will be dearly missed.

A Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, June13, 2015 with the funeral service to begin at Noon. Honorary Pallbearers are Glenda Rahe, Patricia Wiley, Sandra Kuhns and Monica Hudson.

You may share a message or memory in the online memorial guestbook at www.RamseyFuneral.com.
