Law Enforcement Blotter 6/11

LECSmLaw enforcement arrests and reports released Thursday, June 11, 2015.

Wednesday, June 10

*8:31 PM – A Brownwood Police officer, while on patrol, observed a wanted subject walking in the 1700 block of 6th Street and a pedestrian stop was made.  This stop led to the arrest of 17-year-old Acey Glenn Sliger of Brownwood on a parole violation and prohibited weapon (knuckles).

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 51-year-old Gary Wayne Laird of Brownwood for theft from person.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 43-year-old Kevin Shane Perry of Brownwood for driving while license invalid with previous conviction.

Thursday, June 11

*1:15 AM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 1200 block of West US Hwy 67.  According to the report, the vehicle was traveling 56 mph in a 45 mph speed zone.  This stop led to the arrest of 39-year-old Roger Lynn Camp of Bangs for driving while intoxicated.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 19-year-old Daulton Allen of Coleman for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram and possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested Calish Atkins of Goldsboro, Texas on an Eastland County warrant related to engage in organized criminal activity.  Atkins was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bond.

*Brownwood Police arrested 36-year-old Jessica Bills of Brownwood for public intoxication.

*Brownwood Police arrested 39-year-old Kenneth Lee Brown of Comanche for manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 1 gram less than 4 grams in a drug free zone and tamper/fabricate physical evidence with intent to impair.

All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement reports and jail records.
