Early City Council Meeting – Tuesday, June 9, 2015 – 6 PM at Early City Hall

A.  Call to order, Invocation, Pledge of Allegiance

B.  Consideration of the minutes of regular meeting held on May 12, 2015.

C.  Citizen’s comments (citizens are invited to speak to the Council on any topic not already on the agenda.  No Council action may be taken)

D.  Reports (No Council action may be taken)

1.  Drought Contingency Plan – Stage status.   By:  Tony Aaron

E.   Matters of New Business

1.  Consider continuation of the variance granted for privacy fence at 305 Sunrise drive.  By:  Larry McConn

2.  Consider approving request by Early Economic Development Corporation to sell Lot 1B of Industrial Park for $6,500 to Diane Booth.  By:  Larry McConn

3.  Consider a Resolution, 2015-R07, to renew the real estate loan at Mills County State Bank on the property at 1030 Earl Boulevard.  By:  Tony Aaron

4.  Consideration of entering into an Interlocal Agreement with Brown County regarding subdivisions and platting within the City of Early Extra Territorial Jurisdiction.  By:  Tony Aaron

5.  Consider approving an Ordinance, 2015-08, to amend the 2014/2015 fiscal year budget.  By:  Tony Aaron.

F.  Executive Session in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 551, Texas Government Code. *

G.  Reconvene into Open Session and consider action, if any, on items discussed in Executive Session.

H.  Announcements

I.  Adjourn/Recess

*The City Council for the City of Early reserves the right to adjourn into executive session at anytime during the course of this meeting to discuss any matters listed above, as authorized by Texas Government Code Sections:  551.071 (Consultation with Attorney), 551-072 (Deliberations about Real Property), 551-073 (Deliberations about Gifts and Donations), 551-074 (Personnel Matters), 551-076 (Deliberations about Security Devices), and 551.086 (Economic Development).
