Keffer to Speak at June Brownwood Chamber Luncheon June 19th

keffernewThe Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce will hold their monthly luncheon on Friday, June 19th at the Brownwood Country Club from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The luncheon is open to the public and will feature a unique program and includes door prizes, introduction of new members and the “Aces Wild” cash drawing sponsored by Brownwood Regional Medical Center.

This month’s luncheon will feature State Representative Jim Keffer who will give an update on the recently ended Texas Legislative Session.

Jim represents House District 60 which encompasses Brown, Callahan, Coleman, Eastland, Hood, Palo Pinto, Shackelford and Stephens Counties.

He currently serves as Chairman of the Texas House Committee on Natural Resources. Jim has previously served as chairman of other House committees including: Energy Resources, Ways and Means, Economic Development, and the Select Committee on Property Tax Relief.

Jim has received numerous awards and recognitions over his tenure, including being named one of the Top Ten members of the Legislature by Texas Monthly.

This month’s luncheon is sponsored by Bruner Auto Group.

Table sponsors include McCoy’s Building Supply, Mike Hall – State Farm Insurance, and Rural Issues Consultant Bob Turner.

Cost of the luncheon is $12 per person to be paid at the door. RSVP with the Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce at 325-646-9535.   The luncheon is sponsored by Bruner Auto Group.
